About Elm Grove Softener Co.
Elm Grove Softener Co. prices whole-home water softeners over the phone for houses in Elm Grove, whether they are on the Brookfield mains or a private well. Here is who stands behind the name and who does which part of the job.
Call (262) 829-5961Mon to Fri, 7am to 5pmThe company under the Elm Grove name
The name Elm Grove Softener Co. belongs to ZeroGrain Water LLC, a Wisconsin company that trades under it.
Under that name we take the calls, work out what size of system a house needs, supply the equipment and book the work with a plumbing contractor licensed in Wisconsin, who handles all of the plumbing.
What to expect, and what you will not get
Every price comes over the phone, on weekdays from 7am until 5pm. Nobody from the company visits an Elm Grove house to sell a softener or to look the basement over first.
The package is the same on either supply: a whole-home softener and its brine tank, a reverse-osmosis drinking tap at the kitchen sink, a hardness check before anything is connected and retests at the tap until it reads zero. The drinking tap is never sold separately, and the company itself does no plumbing.
Why the village has a site to itself
The village’s water does not fit a general page. Municipal service comes through the City of Brookfield’s utility, reaches only properties on certain roads and is optional even there, so a single street can mix connected houses on Brookfield’s 23 to 34 grain water with well houses that have no published number at all.
Starting from that split, rather than from an average, is the point of this site. It also covers the places around the village: Brookfield, the Town of Brookfield, Wauwatosa and New Berlin.
Common questions
Is Elm Grove Softener Co. part of the Village or of Brookfield’s utility?
No. It is a privately owned trade name with no tie to the Village of Elm Grove, the City of Brookfield or its water utility. Questions about connecting to the mains belong with the Village.
